Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994)
Under the Stars

Directed by Mike Newell

Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell

The romantic fortunes of five friends are followed through four weddings and one funeral, mainly through the eyes of Charles, who is as charming Hugh Grant can make him, but also thuddingly tactless. Like his friends, the willowy Fiona, the bumbling Tom, and the lively Scarlett, he has reached the age where he wonders when he will settle down himself. Until, while acting as best man at the first wedding, he meets the beautiful, promiscuous Carrie. Love, marriage and loss, all are touched on in this funny and endearing film that made Hugh Grant a star in the United States.
