The Mechanics' Institute enjoys working with partners to help achieve our mutual vision, strengthen our programs and services, build awareness, increase the visibility of and enhance the reputation of all entities involved.

If you are interested in a partnership with the Mechanics' Institute, please send a proposal to Tina Ahn, Senior Director of Advancement, at [email protected]. All proposals should include the vision and goals for the partnership or project, the respective responsibilities, and a timeline.

Downtown SF Partnership

Downtown SF Partnership leads the way in building a thriving downtown where business gets done, people feel welcome, come to explore, and make memories.

A nonprofit community benefit district, they are working to enhance the downtown core, the traditional Financial District and historic Jackson Square through public/private partnerships, placemaking, activating the public realm, clean and safe operations, marketing support and more.

Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy

One of the top 30 urban parks in the United States, Yerba Buena Gardens is a collection of mixed-use spaces and structures in San Francisco that includes both private uses (i.e., commercial retail properties) and public uses (i.e., cultural facilities, performance venues, recreational venues, and significant amounts of public open space with garden areas, plazas, children’s play areas, artwork, a historic carousel, and fountains).
