Come celebrate ZYZZYVA's annual Winter Issue Celebration and Holiday Party, being held for the first time at ZYZZYVA's new home, the Mechanics' Institute! Reading will be Winter issue contributors Paul Madonna, Heather Monley, Austin Smith, Dominica Phetteplace, and Lauren Alwan. Join ZYZZVYA ("one of the country's finest literary journals"—Washington Post) as it closes out its 30th anniversary year in holiday cheer.
Lauren Alwan is a staff contributor at LitStack, and her fiction has appeared in StoryQuarterly and the Alaska Quarterly Review.
Paul Madonna writes and draws the weekly series "All Over Coffee" and is the author of All Over Coffee (City Lights Books) and Everything Is Its Own Reward (City Lights Books). He is a contributing editor to ZYZZYVA.
Heather Monley's fiction has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Crazyhorse, and McSweeney's Internet Tendency. She lives in Mountain View.
Dominica Phetteplace has been published in Asimov's, Clarkesworld, PANK, and the Los Angeles Review. She lives in Berkeley.
Austin Smith's poems and fiction have appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Threepenny Review and other publications. His poems have appeared in Issues No. 83 and No. 100. He lives in San Francisco.
