In 2020, Michael Tilson Thomas will step down as Musical Director of San Francisco Symphony after 25 years. To pay tribute to the conductor, we’ve created a music CD display on 3A with titles that span “MTT’s” career including his work with London Symphony Orchestra and New World Symphony. MTT is known for championing 20th-century iconoclasts like Charles Ives, Steve Reich, and Morton Feldman.
