When you shop on Amazon, you can give back to the Mechanics’ Institute! AmazonSmile will contribute 0.5% of eligible purchases once you select us as your charity of choice. If you’re a frequent Amazon shopper, this is a great way to give back to the library effortlessly!
To shop via AmazonSmile and donate to us, follow these steps:

Go to smile.amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon account credentials. If you don't have an account, you will need to set one up.

Once you’re signed in, you will be prompted to pick a charity. You can choose the Mechanics’ Institute from the provided list or type in our name.
Once you’ve selected the Institute as your chosen charity, a percentage of your purchase price on many of the items offered through Amazon will be donated to the Institute – just make sure you shop via smile.amazon.com to give back every time you make a purchase! You can also use AmazonSmile via the Amazon app by turning on the AmazonSmile feature in your settings.
You’ll see the same prices, the same products, and the same shipping options as you would when using the standard Amazon website. Items that qualify for AmazonSmile are marked “eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product pages. Other than turning on AmazonSmile in your account settings and choosing the Mechanics’ Institute as your charity, the experience of shopping through AmazonSmile is just the same as shopping on Amazon the regular way!
