About the Facilitator
HALIDGKA (HALI) REISKIN is a San Franciscan artist of French-Armenian and Persian heritage whose work explores Catholic mysticism, American history, family and neurodivergence. She was born in the alps of Austria after her brilliant, bohemian mother took a long, steep hike and a good hot bath. Raised in San Francisco, Hali (pronounced “Holly”) has degrees in the hard-knock school of life (having matriculated in 16 schools before junior college) as well as jurisprudence and social work. She has mothered for 33 years and brings to her written, textile, and other creative acts the totality of rich, sensory temporal experiences imbued with eternal generative grace.
