Bringing our Libraries Digital

Wouldn't it be great if we had physical collections that were also digital? This would expand the set of services we could offer, such as versions for the print disabled (including large print editions or talking books), search of the full text or other research projects, and the option to lend digital books similarly to how we lend physical books.

All of this is happening, and the question will be who will participate and how. Independent libraries can play a role if they want to.

This talk will demonstrate what is happening already as a way to start a discussion of the future.
