Planning for Disaster: A Case Study of Water Response & Recovery at the California Historical Society

With an up-to-date Emergency Response Plan, staff at the California Historical Society knew what to do and responded quickly and decisively when water drenched much of the book collection in the early morning hours of December 19, 2008. Former Director of Library & Archives, Mary Morganti, will share a behind the scenes view of the response and recovery efforts, and lessons learned that may be applied to libraries and collections of any size.
