Kirsten Loach

Kirsten Loach is a PhD student at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK. She is currently in the second year of a three year project investigating the sustainability of heritage in independent libraries. Before starting her research, she completed a Master’s degree in Library and Information Management. She has around ten years of experience working in the library sector, with three of those years having been spent working at The Portico Library, an independent subscription library in Manchester.
