Emma Marigliano has been Librarian of The Portico Library since 1997 and her research interests include book history and illustration. Her main aims, therefore, have been to promote the Collection which she refers to as reflective. She believes that a collection and archive representative of a relatively typical and successful city of the industrial revolution is the key to the Portico’s current and future success.
