On his Matthew Félix on Air video podcast, he conducted live interviews with renowned guests about writing, travel, the visual arts, spirituality, health, culture, the environment - and more. Now he's been asked to be Program Director and Host of the San Francisco Writers Conference podcast, which is relaunching in February 2021. In this talk, author and podcaster Matthew Félix shares what he's learned about the art of the interview, including how he got into interviewing, why it is about much more than asking a list of questions, and why he loves it. He'll also give us a sneak peek at what's in store for the SFWC podcast relaunch in February.
Matthew Félix is an author, podcaster, and speaker. He also publishes and markets books for other authors. Publishers Weekly’s BookLife Prize called Matthew’s debut novel about a young Spaniard’s awakening to his intuition, A Voice Beyond Reason, “(a) highly crafted gem.” Matthew’s With Open Arms won four Solas Awards and topped Amazon’s Africa and Morocco categories. Matthew was also awarded the $750 Solas Grand Prize for his short story “The Citroën & the Pomegranate.” Matthew’s latest book, Porcelain Travels, won Gold for Humor in the 2019 Readers’ Favorite Awards and was a Foreword INDIES Humor Book of the Year Award finalist.
