The Writers' Lunch is virtually back! This month librarian Taryn Edwards will moderate the discussion The Horror: How to Create Suspense, Fear, and Spookiness In Your Writing with writers Vinnie Hansen, Catriona McPherson, and Rick Homan.
Vinnie Hansen is the author of the Carol Sabala mystery series, the novels Lostart Street and One Gun, as well as over fifty short works. Still sane(ish) after 27 years of teaching high school English, Vinnie has retired and plays keyboards with ukulele groups in Santa Cruz where she lives with her husband and the requisite cat.
More about Catriona McPherson can be found on her website or on Facebook or Twitter. Her novel In Place of Fear was published in June.
Rick Homan writers murder mysteries and suspense novels. His Nicole Tang Noonan mysteries are set on a college campus in rural Ohio and in San Francisco, Nicole's home town. Prior to taking up the craft of crime fiction, Rick performed as an actor and guitarist. Find out more at www.rickhoman.com.

Look forward to mini-reviews on books that have been added to our "literary craft" collection, informal presentations by member writers, and excellent conversation.
